Set of 45 number and problem solving cards for Y5-6. Our 7 sets of Multilink cards have been written specifically to include innovations and approaches to teaching. The cards are aimed at specific learning objectives and represent the best in teaching practice, benefiting from the combined writers’ experience of a Mathematics Inspector and Advisor, university lecturers, secondary, primary and early years teachers. The Multilink cards provide practical hands-on activities and supports learning within the ‘3 part’ mathematics lesson. The cards can be used by children working alone, in pairs or in small groups, and actively encourage problem solving, thinking skills and learning through talk as children enjoy mathematical puzzles, games and challenges. Each card set centres around 3 parallel cards that relate to the key objectives for that year group and are therefore easy to access and identify for any lesson, making life for the busy teacher so much easier. Support cards are also included for each key objective to guide classroom helpers and support teachers to develop relevant learning and key vocabulary. The text within each set of cards is levelled at the year group and strong visual images support understanding. Each pack contains 45 cards.
